303 Convertible Top Cleaner

303 Convertible Top Cleaner utilizes a unique "colloidal" action to lift and suspend oil, grease and dirt. It does not contain soap, detergents, toxic organics, phosphates, nitrates or caustics. 303 Top Cleaner is extremely effective and extremely safe and leaves no residue like most cleaners.

303 Convertible Top Cleaner - Colloidal Cleaner for Safe CleaningTo understand the nature of 303's colloid cleaner technology, one must first know what a colloid is NOT. It is not a soap, detergent or petroleum solvent. 303's colloid cleaner is non-toxic and does not have a flash point.

303's colloid cleaners are a homogeneous blend of colloid sequesterants, surfactants and hyper-wetting agents that becomes super-active when processed together. It is helpful to think of this cleaning action as somewhat similar to the reaction of the atom in an atomic explosion?where the ceaseless random movement of the atoms in the colloid actually lifts, separates and holds in suspension the oils, grease, dust, soils, etc., which have been penetrated.

The properties of colloids were first documented in the search for a biodegradable substance to break up oil slicks on oceans. Research into why some products break up and hold in suspension grease and oil showed that colloids have minute particles (0.000000001 cm) called micelles that, when combined with water, break the surface tension to make water super-wet. Combining with water causes the micelles to penetrate grease, oil and dirt and then hold them in suspension in the super-wet water?in effect making these substances dissolve in water.

Simply, colloids penetrate into grease, oil and other "soils" and stir things up?a technological design like no other cleaner. In fresh or salt water, combined with other solvents or alone, 303's colloid cleaners will continue to clean.

A 303 colloid cleaner product is completely people-safe. With it, there are no effects from over exposure. There are no special storage requirements. 303 colloid cleaners are non-hazardous, non-flammable, non-toxic, non-explosive, non-fuming, non-caustic and 99% biodegradable.

Directions: Rinse thoroughly to remove loose particulate solid/debris. While the area to be cleaned is still wet, apply 303 Top Cleaner evenly over the entire area. Agitate lightly with a damp soft nylon brush, terry cloth rag or sponge. Rinse thoroughly with clear water until no foam is observed. For very difficult soiling (bird droppings, tree sap, oil, food and beverage stains, mildew, air pollution), after rinsing apply 303 Top Cleaner direct to the area and let stand for 10-20 minutes, then scrub lightly to loosen the soiling/stain. Again, rinse thoroughly (always rinse before the surface dries). Note: warmer temperatures, agitation and longer dwell times aid the cleaning action; in cold climates (below 55 degrees F.) allow 303 Top Cleaners to work longer before rinsing. Caution: Do not scrape fabric or vinyl tops with tools, sandpaper , steel wool or cleansers which may cause permanent damage.

After Cleaning:

Fabric Tops: To restore water repellency, soiling and stain resistance, treat with 303 High Tech Fabric Guard (Not for Vinyl). Vinyl Tops: Protect Vinyl Tops, Tonneau Covers, Soft Tops, Car Bras and clear vinyl windows with 303 Aerospace Protectant (Not for Fabric). Caution: Do not scrape fabric or vinyl tops with tools, sandpaper , steel wool or cleansers which may cause permanent damage.
